What is Back Into the Wild All about?

Back Into the Wild was founded by a wild woman named Pamela Phifer. It began from the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves" Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D., where Back Into the Wild grew.

Pamela Phifer is a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant who works with women individually and in group settings to empower each individual woman to find their way to their soul home and continue on their journey to wellness. Pamela is gifted at helping women learn to love themselves right where they are and at motivating them to be the best they can be spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. During her lifetime she has experienced life at several levels including herself sinking into addictions and coming to recovery and wellness.

Pamela's life experiences are her testimony to finding the way on your path. Her approach is to bring women together to empower one another and share the innate wisdom within each of us.

  • "The psyches and souls of women also have their own cycles and seasons of doing and solitude, running and staying, being involved and being removed, questing and resting, creating and incubating, being of the world and returning to the soul-place." pg 256 Homing: Returning to OneSelf
  • "When a woman is too long gone from home, she is less and less able to propel herself forward in life.† Instead of pulling in the harness of her choice, she's dangling from one. She's so cross-eyed with tiredness she trudges right on past the place of help and comfort." pg 280 Homing:Returning to OneSelf
